Protecting Your Gear:
Whether you’re waiting on a high-end digital VTX, a new set of motors, or a custom BNF build, the "Last Mile" of delivery is always the most stressful. You’ve invested in your gear, and we want to make sure it actually reaches your workbench.
At Buzz FPV, we offer Optional Shipping Protection at checkout to give you total peace of mind from the moment your order leaves our Wangara warehouse.
What is Covered?
Our shipping protection is a comprehensive safety net that goes far beyond what standard couriers (like Australia Post or StarTrack) offer. It covers:

Damage in Transit: If your package is crushed or mishandled by the courier.

Loss in Transit: If the tracking stops updating and the courier confirms the parcel is missing in their network.

Porch Piracy (Theft): If your package is marked as "Delivered" but was stolen from your doorstep.
Note on Theft: To process a claim for "Porch Piracy," a formal Police Report is required. This allows us to verify the theft and continue offering this high level of protection to the FPV community.
What is NOT Covered?
While we want to protect you from the "unknowns" of shipping, there are two specific scenarios where shipping protection does not apply:

Declining Protection: If you opt out of shipping protection at checkout, Buzz FPV is not responsible for any loss or damage once the package is dispatched. Standard courier payouts are often capped at $100—which rarely covers the cost of modern FPV equipment.

Incorrect or Old Addresses: Shipping protection does not cover items sent to an incorrect address provided by the customer. Please double-check your shipping details (and your saved Autofill addresses!) before hitting "Pay." If you provide an old or incorrect address and the item is delivered there or lost as a result, the protection is void.
Why Add Protection?
We are pilots too, and we know that a lost package usually means weeks of "investigation" by the courier, often ending in a denied claim or a tiny payout.
When you have Buzz FPV Shipping Protection, we bypass the courier’s red tape. Once the loss, damage, or theft (with police report) is verified, we fast-track a replacement or a refund so you aren't grounded for a month while a corporate bureaucracy "looks for" your box.
How to Make a Claim
If something goes wrong:

Contact Us: Reach out via our Contact Page with your order number.

Provide Evidence: Send photos of damage or a copy of your Police Report for theft.

Get Back in the Air: We’ll handle the rest and get your gear sorted.
