iFlight iX5 200mm Super Light 5 Inch Race Quadcopter Frame

Working with the i-flight team we have combined the components that we would choose if we were building up the kit ourselves, although just a starter kit. This is a kit that we feel will compete with many of the custom racing kits out there on the market today.

Starting with the compact x style frames we insisted on a beveled edge as sanding off the sharp edges of the carbon is a tedious job but is important if you want to protect the frame from splintering and also protect your wires. the unibody frame was chosen to be a lighter alternative but using a 4mm base it's still tough as.
Next we included an F3 SP racing style flight controller - this is a great controller with more ports for expansion and proven to be reliable. For the esc's we choose blheli_s esc's with a rating of 30A which is more than enough to handle 4s when your ready and even the amp hungry RaceKraft 5150 props.
The motors are 2205 2500KV which works well on 3s if your starting out and also provide insane speed when your ready for 4s.

For the fpv components on this model we chose the parts we use in out own builds which has proven to be one of the best combo's A foxeer HS1177 camera paired with the Foxeer 25mw vtx providing clean video, also included is a circular polarized antenna.

The Power distribution board is a maytek xt60 board that keeps the battery leads out of the way with a direct connect xt60.

If you want to carry a GoPro on this quad there is sufficient room on top and prop clearance with the slightly larger spacing at the front - also available as an option is a carbon fiber mount, but we recommend a TPU printed mount to better protect and suit you gopro / runcam.

Finally, when the build has been checked over by the buzz team a custom tune / PID's are loaded to ensure that you have the best experience.

Also included is some spares and a really nice carry case to protect your quad. 

This kit is the quadcopter only - you will need to add Radio gear, Batteries and FPV screen / Goggles for a full setup
